Arizona: Celebration of the Grand Canyon State

Arizona: Celebration of the Grand Canyon State - Web Page

  • A Pictorial History of Arizona

Arizona: Celebration of the Grand Canyon State has more than 500 historic and scenic images, including 20 Maynard Dixon paintings courtesy of Dr. Mark Sublette, owner of Medicine Man Gallery.

I have written a "broad brush" history of Arizona from prehistory to the present, and the staff at Gibbs Smith, Publisher have created a beautiful coffee table book.

It is perfect for long time residents, new arrivals, snowbirds, or tourists -- any one who wants to know all about Arizona but doesn't want to become a professor.
